Cycle Love to a new level. Steel Frame, Fixed Gear. Presenting my fourth bike - The Aurice. One of the most pleasant looking and riding bikes I ever owned.
1. A chromoly frame - Very much different from the Hi-Ten steel I have ridden in my RR 5.0. a bit more sturdy but feels light and good.
2. Fixie - there has always been a fixie curiosity :) the cadence is more rhythmic and constant in a fixie, than SS or geared
3. A great looker - many heads turn with this one even compared to my roadie.. I love this color scheme.
4. Decent wheelset - though its early to comment on this, but looks okay.
5. 44/18 ratio (6th gear on my roadie) - Very less strain on the knees
6. Comfy geometry and pleasure to ride - u have to ride it to know it :D
7. All purpose - Office and weekend rides - security guards don't give a damn cuz there are no gears. the people in the club live it because it is a fixie
8. Out of the saddle - its a dance! pedalling out of saddle in a fixie is so good! Its feels like ur in complete control of the bicycle!
